Jim's Tools Part Number
« on: December 30, 2014, 03:09:34 PM »

Needing a Primary Lock Bar for my '05 SEEG and not sure which one to get.  Spoke with J&P and they say Jim's # 2316.  Info on Jim's website is unclear and looks like it may be the 2317.  Been trying to call Jim's for two day with no luck.  Anyone know which one is for the '05 SEEG??

You can cut a piece of flat metal that works just as well as their piece of flat metal.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks for the replies/comments.  Called George first but he is out of stock for at least two weeks.  As far as cutting my own piece, I need to know how long the correct bar is - there are four different ones (although I can eliminate two of them).  I have one of the "wedge" holders but the bars work much better.  Jim's has been no help.  No replies to messages or emails.  Might be closed
for the holiday week but if so it would be nice to post that on their website.

So, if anyone has one of these bars for an '05 SEEG (made by Jim's), please forward me the number and/or the length.

Thanks!!

Here's a seller on eBay with a bunch of the George's tool:

...and here's the right one on Amazon from Heartland.  They are an ok source for some basic tool also.
