Well, the old Road King with 80" EVO engine rolled over 30k miles this past weekend while cruising the Bankhead National Forest in Winston County, Alabama. She's never been a minute's trouble, never been to the dealer, never even been in a shop, never let me down, still doesn't use a drop of Mobil 1 between changes, smoother than the SERG, must've been built on a Wednesday. The engine is slightly more noisy than it used to be when she has to pull but on flat ground she's easily the best Harley I've ever owned. Now, to the question - are there some engine internal part(s) I need to check? Sometimes I almost feel guilty not having lifters, chains, runout, compensators, adjusters, etc. to worry about. Ride her 'til I die?
