Autumn in SEMASS - an SED Adventure
« on: October 22, 2006, 09:13:47 PM »

As the riding season winds down here in New England, the SED went for one of it's last long (100+ Mile) Rides around Southeastern Massachusetts...

Here the Deuce stops at a nice memorial under development in East Freetown...

An upcoming Tavern Chain called the British Beer Company...lot's of Beer on Tap from the British Isles...also appears to be a Biker friendly Stop ...there was an '07 SE Ultra there when I pulled in...spoke with the owner but had no cards with me...

Not to go off topic but shouldn't the air breather be turned down a bit further?

Nice shots Bill.  Good to hear (read) that the Deuce got to get out and see the countryside a bit.  Since it's accident and the long repair period finally ended hadn't noticed you talking about having it out much.  Lots of bagger miles but not much Deuce stories.  You couldn't pay me to live in Massachusetts.  But you got some damned pretty scenery up there that's worth going to visit every so often.

I have been watching this Memorial develop ove the year, it is at the intersection of Chase Rd. and Memorial Drive.  East Freetown is a very rural community with some decent roads to ride.  I have been meaning to stop at this memorial because of the Apache.  You would never think they would go to such an elaborate display in this small community.

Nice pictures and nice scooter Bill. I was just talking to 103T about how it would feel so awkward getting on anything smaller than our SEEG's now after riding em for a couple years. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] Nice pipes, imagine they sound as good as they look. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

It is a lot different...I am actually more comfortable on the ultra in the turns...the small front tire allows the fork to just "flop" over...not a sure footed, but it is lighter and more agile...I did scrape the pipes once or twice...helped being solo without the backseat rev-limiter!  Still scared the He!! out of me the first time...remebered that I just bought those new heat shields to replace the once trashed in the accident last year.
