-
laylonlor. the biggest i have seen comes from the pages of the december issue of hot bike. a guy mounted a 240 on a road glide but with some serious changes. Looks pretty good if you ask me.
-
any chance you could scan that in and post it for us?
-
I can get to it later today.
-
thanks
-
You're quite welcome. Also, I was trying to find the thread that spoke about a clear plastic that can be applied to painted parts of the bike. I would like to put one between my windshield pouch and the fairing so the paint is not scratched. If possible, could you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hey Laylonlor - I'm starting to do some research on bigger tires/wheels for the SEEG.

Here is the web address to the 240 Road Glide. I will still post the article from Hot Bike later today. If you scroll down to the bottom of the home page there she is. You can click on it for a few more pics.

The photos became too large. I have posted the article at:
www.laker23.gfoto.com
They are labeled by number but do not appear in order.
-
Here is another site you might want to checkout. They do a fat tire / fender kit for baggers.

-
O.K. for fat tires on baggers, go to www.fatbaggers.com
P.M. also sells a 180 conversion which looks really good and is priced right, but is a chain conversion.
-
What year glide are you working on? There are multiple kits as suggested above offering a wide range of tire sizes.
A 160 will go in a stock arm and fender.
A 180 will go in a stock arm with a chain.
A 180 will go in a stock/modified arm with a belt and motor mount change (front lower)
A 200 will go with a aftermarket arm, fender and some sort of offset kit (motor or trans)
Any bigger takes all sorts of parts!
I'll post the pics of the 200 I just did.
Sneak peak.... :2vrolijk_21:

For the 07 FLHTCUI/SEUC a 150 is max. I ordered a 160 and was standing there with Bill and there was no way it was going to have any clearance between the top edges of the fender.
