Looks good...but I am concerned about the diminished travel above the front fender :nervous:

Wheel looks great, but could you comment on the handle bars?  Are they comfortable and can you still see out of the rear view mirrors?

Thanks, Lou

Carlini's Gangster Ape they are 14" they are not as tall as the 12"monkey bars because they bend and come back to you.

This is the site I got them from

Its a paul yaffe fender from http://baggernation.com/ I had it painted to match the factory fender so it still looks kinda stock and as far as the brakes go they are not as good as the dual rotors but they work alright for now. I got to change my master cylinder and brakes to get it back right.

Looks great, but that is a lot of bike and motor to have only a single rotor in the front.  Be very careful!!

The abs is still the same. The light still comes on when I start the bike then goes off to let me know the abs is still working. I am still going to upgrade my brakes to get some better stoping power.

Looks great.  I'm looking for bars and wonder if those will work for me.  I'm fine around town sitting up straight but I need them to be a few inches closer for long distance leaning back with feet on pegs.
Mirrors look to be functional in your pics.  Any advice or more pics of bars would be appreciated.

I have to say, I did a 21" on my last bike, and the big front wheel is just not for me, BUT, props for a real nice job!! I like that you painted the fender to match, and kept the stock "style".

Chrome Junkie,

I did the WO575 bars, advertised as up 2" and back 2". I was able to use all my stock lines, just had to reroute them a little. Much better riding position, hands still behind the fairing. I did change the mirrors to handlebar mount.

I'm thinkin a fender would be required .. Personally .. I wouldnt change wheels and leave the dbl disk on .. wheel looks tooo good to cover it on the show side ..go to 13 inch rotor w/6 piston caliper and perhaps LRB pads .. But I do like the big wheels ..  Jus sayin

I had to change the triple trees so the trailing would be right and the fender thats all that had to be changed to make the 23 inch rim work.

http://hstrial-trickyairbillet.intuitwebsites.com/ this is the web site they came from i didn't do any welding just changed the trees so if I was wanting to put it back stock I could if u were to do any welding that means u will be cuting your frame and I didn't want to do that

Hi Chad,  So you changed the triple trees and kept the stock front end. A couple of  questions, Did you do anything to the fairing bracket ? Are  the headlight pointing upward?  No wobble at high speed? Does the fender hit the bottom of the fairing? Does it sit level? I have a 12 CVO Road Glide and thinking of going the 23 inch route but I'm hesitant to cut the frame. Thanks Manny

Manny when i put the triple trees on It comes with a bracket for the headlight to be adjusted back to the stock position so its not pointed in the trees its level. Its does not wobble a bit i have had it up to 120mph still rides the same. No the fender does not hit the fairing i have hit a couple of bumps and it has not hit yet This is the reason I put the stiffer springs in the forks so it wont bottom out. It still sits level too. I hope this helps you with your decision about you bike i would not cut the frame if i were you its like cutting the value of you bike in half if u do that.
