It took about 9 months. I don't think I'd try and import another bike from the US to Australia again unless it was something really special. I'm surprised at how nice the old Sportster is to ride and the XLCR really does look fantastic. The brakes are pretty bad but I'm working on getting them right. The other difficulty was getting Australian registration. The government doesn't make it easy and it's expensive but the old girl now has full Aussie rego. I'm having all the paint re-sprayed even though it wasn't too bad mainly to stop corrosion because I live on the coast. All in all a great bike. Thanks to Miker and Hoist for their assistance in finding the right bike for me on the other side of the world.

The " bugled hood" , just for looks.  Carbon fiber, light weight.  Melrose headers, 3" all the way back, Fusion mufflers.  19 & 20" Weld wheels.
Pfadt coil-overs.  Tuned-360hp to the rear.  Handles very well and fast enough for me...

YUP mesh grill and BAD A_ _!!!

 The "V" is in for further refinement in 2013.  Cadillac leased their computerized suspension system developed on this car to Fararri. it's the fastest sedan in the world (for now).

FWIW: If you are serious check out the used ones. Depreciation in the first 2 years is a bitch and there are some deals out there.

A C6 getting only 160hp at the rear wheel?  Doesn't a stock one come in significantly higher than that?  Perhaps you meant 460hp to the rear wheel?   :nixweiss:
