I feel you. Mine has a few of those but I request and am granted a couple specific technicians. Sometimes I have to wait an extra day or three to get them but well worth it. I usually tip my guy pretty well, depending on the work. That extra bit appreciation I show comes back ten fold.

Congrats, that is quite an achievement. I have done 3 SS1000 now but never a BBG (Butt Burner Gold).

Sad to say i cleaned the bike and put it up for the winter, snow flying here soon which means salt and chemicals on the roads till spring.

Saturday I put a Klock Werks 6" shield on my 17 CVO Street Glide.  Looks good, lifts the air a bit more than the factory shield.  Unfortunately  it was to cold to test with the half helmet.  I did manage a nice 215 mile ride along the Ocoee and the mountains.  It was a nice 30 degrees out and clear.  Should be able to get a good test on the windshield in FL at Christmas.

Installed a Cree LED headlight bulb. Thought I would have to do a bit of rewire but it was a straight plug&play

-20 air temp plus windchill this morning, so after a cup of coffee, I took the kids to the shop and we cleaned a gun and a SESG. Tore apart my BMW project bike...What else is there to do when It's this cold.

I went for a short 172 mile ride yesterday afternoon after a week of rain.  It was a nice balmy 35 degrees out.  However it was beautiful up through Oakridge, Oliver Springs, Warburg, Starbrite, Hariman and Rookwood.  Top of Frozen head was snow covered.

Took my '17 SG in for a 117 kit install, rode a bus back home (bus people are an interesting lot), then walked 1/4 mile home in 80* sunshine.  Life is really freakin' good!!

Planning on doing the Ridemore ride today.  Looks like it will be 27 when I start but should make high 40's today.
