Vickie's doctor just told me she is doing fine, will be in recovery for another hour. It probably took him less than 10 min. to do the graph. Doctor said all looked good in there, did not see any dead bone or anything abnormal. Thanks everyone for your prayers and thoughts. She has been walking but hopefully by MV she will be walking without crying! I will keep you posted later today.

                                                                                             Arland

Good to hear, praying for a full and speedy recovery.

That's great news.  Always such a relief, no matter the procedure, when the doctor enters the waiting room and tells you all is well.

Prayers for a complete and speedy recovery!   :2vrolijk_21:

Arland, prayers to you both along with the doctors and nurses that will be performing the surgery on the 13th.  Got this on my calendar for extra prayer on the 13th.  May the Lord bless and keep you both during this time and that His healing power will comfort Vickie during the healing process.

Sending prayers that all is healing up amazingly quickly now that the surgery is done.

Just got Vickie home about 5:00pm today. I stayed with her all night in the hospital, she was doing good but I stayed to keep her company. Man that hospital food sucks, I don't think a wild lost dog would eat that stuff. She has a sore throat from the breathing tube. She is no longer complaining about pain deep down in the non union area of her bone. Now it is just surgical pain, which right after surgery she said was about 7/8 and right resting in the bed it is a 3/4. That is a big improvement. She has to wear a boot for six weeks. Thanks everyone for your calls, prayers, healing thoughts. We can't wait to see old friends and new members in Maggie Valley. Mickey has done an outstanding job and it looks like it is going to be a Legendary Event...Don't miss it if you can.

Hey Thanks All, I think Vickie will start feeling a lot better after next Wed. when we go to get the 25 to 30 staples out of her leg. At least it is not hurting deep done in the bone now.
