« on: June 04, 2008, 04:53:48 AM »

Got a 2002 serk anyone know if the 508 will give me more pullback than the stock handlebar? I'm considering changing it with the 508 but would like to make sure that its got more pullback.Appreciate any input. Thanks

I was looking at the 508's for my 08 SERK as well. However, they appear to come back more like a wheel barrel handle fashion than I like. I want my hand position more knuckles in the wind.

My lady's RK Custom had the wheel barrel style bar. Neither of us liked the way they ride. She swapped them out for the Heritage Softail bar. A little narrower and hands in a more natural position. She's much happier.

I'm still looking. Think I need to get my seat issue resolved first.

I installed the Wild1 10" Chubby's on my 08 SERK. I am 5'11". Could have used a little more pullback. These bars I think are about 1/2" to 1" more pull back than the stock bars. THe height is OK for me. Maybe ride it for the summer and change them out in the winter to 12 or 14" apes. Only had to change the hydraulic clutch cable with the 10" bars too .  ;D :drink:

I started with the 10" W1 apes and changed to the 12.5" Apes. With the Corbin seat, they're perfect height for me. I'm 5-9 with 32" inseam. :2vrolijk_21:
