Title: Christmas Day Engagement
Post by: Grover on December 25, 2005, 10:33:28 PM
Just want everyone to know that at 2:00 Christmas Day my girlfriend of 4 years became my Fiancee... [smiley=love_3.gif]

She had NO idea! We opened up our gifts with family... When she unwrapped the Harley purse I bought her, she began to kinda look inside. Since I usually hide a smaller gift inside a larger one for a little more of a suprise. One of my relatives said; "You better watch out, there might be a diamond ring in there" She replied yeah right; He's too cheep to do that!

Grover, you're a smart man!  Some here may fall for your tact, timeliness and propriety when considering your Christmas manuever, but I spotted the truth immediately.  My good man, you have opened an unobstructed path to chrome, chrome and more chrome...not to mention the upcoming Zippers performance packages.  A job well done.

Seriously, the very best to both of you.  I'll buy the toast at Maggie Valley.

Lynn & I thank all of you for your kind words...and cheers to all [smiley=beerchug.gif]
If all goes as planned. My goal is to have a two part Honeymoon...

Cripple Creek in June. Maggie Valley in Oct.

We both love riding together so why not make a Honeymoon out of it! Awesome scenery and a cool group of CVOwners [smiley=cool26.gif] It couldn't get any better than that for a cycle vacation!!
And weather permitting the Wedding party will also be on bikes this spring!

Thanks again, [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Very well done, Grover.  Nicely delivered and well assisted.
It has long been my assertion that every man should have as many wives as:
a:  he can find gainful employment for...
or
b:  will truly know him, and still love him anyway...

Seriously though.   The "what took you so long"  said all I needed to hear.  Congratulations...
