Patch To Leather Glue???

I had a freind tell me he had heard of a 3M product that is used to bond a patch to leather and has a release agent that is used to break the bond. After years of putting on a couple lbs a year, I have yet to figure a way to stretch old leathers. :'( If there is such a product, it would make it much easier to move patchs as my size increases. Plus save trips to get them sewed on. :)
