There are many wheel chocks on the market and I have used a few over the years... IMHO, none as good as the Wheeldock!  :2vrolijk_21:

I have had two Wheeldocks for the wife's and my bikes a few years now and can't say enough about the quality, ease of use (even with a 900+lb bike), stability in the garage and in the trailer, the quickness of loading and unloading the bike from the chock and from the trailer, etc..

To be perfectly honest, I'm amazed that Condor (or any others with that similar type chock) are still in business, since Wheeldock was introduced.  :nixweiss:

Also, Wheeldock is a pleasure to deal with!

'nough said!

Gotta chime in for Wheeldock.  :2vrolijk_21:  I love mine.

I helped a friend stationed in Singapore buy one for his wife's Honda.  It's some sort of custom model and didn't show up on their website for proper tire sizing.  I called, and they went above and beyond to help me indentify the proper tire size (it was a suprise gift so I couldn't ask her what size her tire is).  They also added, "if it doesn't fit right, send it back and we will get you the right one".  Great folks to deal with.

IF your using it for the garage, MOVE it back a notch. I had the same problem,
but DUH, I didn't think of that at first. I use it on the trailer as directed, and NEVER
had a problem. I was scared as chit to use it as told with a $33k bike, but damn it works.

Move it toward the back of the condor??? I have the same issue It is hard to get it off the dam thing but it does really hold the bike well

What I mean "BACK", move the bolt toward the front upright. That way the part you ride over doesn't
go up the rear of the front wheel as far.

I'd not recommend doing this on a Condor. Use the futhest back hole to get the tire as deep as possible for security's sake.

The trick to easily getting the bike out is to use the front brake. It's really a two tug process.  Tug it once good, and pull the front brake at the height of the backward movement.  Stop.  Then as you are getting ready to tug it the second time, release the front brake, and it rolls right off.  This way you start the second pull with most of the rearward work saved from the first pull.  Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. My stupid people trick of the day, fwiw.

I also have Condor,
Works well for me, in or out of the trailer.
It does take some playing with, to determine which is the ideal positon for the pin to be to hold front tire, and roll back off of the cradle as well.
However when you find it, it works great!!

Has there been any corrosive issues with any of the chocks noted above?

Thanks

Howie

Howie

I don't think you will be disappointed I have had one for years and it works GREAT.  I use it on my lift with no tie downs and I have the
quick disconnect where I can move it to the trailer.

  I'm very happy with mine.

Down side,,,, you have to order it to wheel size and that is the only disadvantage I can see.  Would I order another one?  YES!

I just ordered 2 and a spacer kit( for the dyna) Those give then great flexibilty for more than one bike...I hope..

I couldn't get the 09 road sofa out of the trailer mounted bike pro cradle I have now alone, legs to short..

Comin to ebay soon, 2 hardy used black bike pro cradles, which do work ok but for 50 bucks more, the dock looks to be just titties!

I havn't bought a wheel dock from Wheeldock, but I bought one of their center stands for my FLTRSE3.  Fantastic quality, engineering, and customer service.

Has anyone tried or seen a Promax http://www.droptailtrailers.com/chocks.html ?  It looks like good quality at a great price.  But like some one posted earlier I would hate to damage a beautiful machine over saving a few $$$'s.  But with the way the economy is right now I sure could use those few extra $'s, and I need a good chock for my trailer.
