Backrest problem
« on: June 24, 2017, 01:02:15 PM »

I just installed the docking hardware for a passenger backrest. The problem I am having is when I go to install the backrest the part that goes on the shock rubs the top of the shock.(on the right shock) It pushes the bracket back off as I try to rotate it down to lock on, it stays on the left side with no problem just an issue on the right side. Anyone else run into this problem?

Thanks
Kevin

Make sure that shock isn't upside down. It's happened quite a bit on standard models.

Thanks, I think that is the problem with mine too. Dealer will take care of it Monday since it is going in for a rear tire pressure sensor that stopped working.
