Either or, one means  a source of origin and the other is the condition or quality of being significantly important or well-known.  I felt he is somewhat well known and the quality of the build by Randy fit.  Doesn't really matter either way to me.

Man, if you're going to go to all the trouble to correct someone it's important to at least get it right (so you don't look dumb [just sayin']).  "Provenance" is the word you were after.  I think Pro-Venience would be the name of a quick service escort agency :huepfenlol2: .

Isn't "Provenience" the provenance/provenience of "Provenance"?

The subject being communicated is what's important not how you communicate it. Stephen Hawking would never be heard if we didn't believe this.
What's more important, that Henry Ford invented the assembly line at Kitty hawk or that we drive airplanes to work?

I'm understanding the post just fine.

Chains, nice bike and the "origin" and "importance" of the bike as well as how you scored, makes for an interesting story.

I had to install a second battery on my boat to run the amplified stereo system with the engine off.

Get your "Motor Running Head", out on the highway!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men

For what it's worth I don't believe there's anyone in the Dago biker community who isn't aware of Cycle Visions. Randy has been around for a long time and has gone through a lot of changes. Ups and downs based on the economy like everyone else but you know the constant with Randy and with his shop has always been that while he charges a pretty penny he does 1st rate work. It's for this reason that celebs and rich guys have him build them one off customs like this bike here. And specifically as regards this bike, everyone who knows Randy knows this bike was built for Brad Pitt. At the time it came back into CV and was up for sale, the info attached to the bike flat out stated it belonged to Brad Pitt. So I don't think there was ever any question about it's origins. However, having said all that, I understand that a buyer at Barrett-Jackson is gonna want some documentation and the magazine article certainly helps out with that but in the end I think given Randy's rep as being a straight up dude, if you were to contact him regarding a high viz sale like B-J, he'd most likely help out with the doc work. I mean it's a ton of free publicity. Having said all that, I was very impressed with that bike from the get go. When Randy had it up for sale after Pitt let it go, I'd have bought it if not for the fact that I'm just waaaaaaaaay too damn big for a V-Rod in general, let alone one like this beauty.
