Billet clutch, want to launch hard, which one?
« on: May 06, 2014, 11:23:58 AM »

Just a fast question from folks who upgraded there clutches. Want to change the complete clutch to a billet unit. What's the best one out there. Aim, Riviera, Barnett, etc.  Most reliable, tough, most chatter proof unit.  My budd has a Riviera clutch and seems happy with it. What do you think. Cheers.

New style set up for running hard I would suggest the bandit. You can tune it with shims. I myself am not a fan of lock up units as they make shifting hard at high RPM up-shifts. AS well the lock up units put a tremendous amount of load on the throw out bearing. Once you see that weld the rod to the adjuster you will not like the fix.
