Airflow heated grips - confused will they fit
« on: September 12, 2023, 01:10:50 PM »

Afternoon everyone,

Bike is a 17 CVO limited with aftermarket bars (dealership installed).  They currently have internal wired Airflow heated grips.  The rubber on the grips are worn down and sticky.  I've looked up the parts on Ronnies HD site and all the parts are over $500 to replace what needs replacing.

The Airflow heated grips (part 56100253) on HD website are $320.  The HD site says HAS to be wired externally.  I don't believe that as I've wired other bars with HD grips, but wanted to see if anyone has done this replacement.

Thanks much

I think you will have to place a notch on the grip to pass the wires thru. That's if you find a set on the rack. If I remember correctly I ordered the correct ones shown on the partsfinder breakdown online. Those went right on and internally wired.
