I have the 660 and think it is great, I had a problem with the unit, called Garmin and they sent me out a new one the next day, great customer service. I love the POI feature. I use www.poifactory.com for downloads. I made my own mount from a mount I bought from Eglide Goodies.

Heatweave had a mount that was pretty nice also with pics. as far as the connection; you can't just use the Aux plug in the aux port? Then have the pwr supply to the battery? isn't considered weather proof? Thanks Devil, did you have to get handle bar mount cradle or is every thing in thahe box? I like the tri county price. :2vrolijk_21:

With the HD version, you don't get the handlebar mount, all you get is the cradle and car mount, it's up to you as to whether you want to mount the cradle to the fairing mount or another type of handle bar mount.  The the non-HD branded Zumo comes with a handle bar control mount...there are better and chrome mounts out there.  (See the link in my previous post above).

Devil I'm going to try the mount that Heatwave had, and see how that works out for me. The Motorcycle Cradle and Harness Assembly is the main part?, and from that I can use any mount right?

Pretty much so as long as it has the standard mounting holes in the plate.  The Zumo 660 mount has the standard 4 hole mount, so make sure you get the plate with that.

Nice, clean installation.  Where did you hook the power up to?

I used the International maker light wiring. I also run an IPOD for when the GPS is off. I ran the the charging and audio plugs into my left glove box. I also added the AUX out the rear of my radio and the connector is also ran to my left glove box. So when I switch from IPOD to GPS audio all the connection are in my left glove box. I just switch inputs into the radio AUX plug.
