Title: Harley MP3 Player
Post by: chesterc on April 01, 2008, 12:32:39 PM
I was wondering what was the best way to run the cable from the MP3 player to the radio on my 04 electra-glide? I assume the only place to plug it in is in the front, but I don't like the idea of running the wires back and forth in plain view, any help out their, thanks

And I was wondering which is the best position to put the internal switch in the mp3 player on, the instructions say put it in B, and some say A slot, what is better/ or for what reason to use the other ? thanks again,

have you considered the FM transmitter attachment to the iPOD?  You'll avoid all wires and nothing to connect or disconnect when using it.  Just keep it in your shirt pocket.  The battery won't last quite as long but I don't think the iPOD gets power from the aux plug anyhow.

Usa the A setting and for the cable it can be run in the bars by drilling a hole behind the unit. For the aux jack see this thread:
