Had seen their gauges listed on the Kuryakyn website.  Have also worked with their instruments in other non-bike applications and always seemed like good product.  But had no idea these radios existed until seeing one in a bike today.

Looked cool.  It's a direct replacement that actually fills the hole, looks good, plugs in and adds a few bells and whistles.

The bike's owner said he wasn't using an extra amp.  Only heard what was there with the bike in a parking lot so can't say how it would sound going down the road.  Cool instrument though.  If anyone is interested see it at:

I have seen it and used it....a friend has one that was re-branded and installed as stock equipment in his Dragonfly fairing on his SERK. Good sound going down the road, but the menus are a little hard to access. At least that is the first thing we noticed. Maybe it gets easier the more you use it.

Here it is as an upgrade package.

looks like a nice plug and play kit, i believe the actual "head unit" is made by JBL

JBL makes multiple models so actual specs would just be a guess, i had researched theses as a possible option when replacing the last head unit in my SERK

specs of 1 model

Details
JBL MBB218 Sirius-Ready AM/FM Receiver (Consists of faceplate and black box)

Splash-proof face
Sirius-ready
4 x 45 watts
AM/FM tuner
Unique two-line display
Preamp outputs (2 pairs)
CD-Changer Control (no CD mechanism in actual unit)
iPod-Ready (aux-in)
Faceplate size: 7 1/8"W x 2 1/8"H x 1 3/8"D The "black box" stereo is a first in the marine industry! It focuses specifically on eliminating the potential problem of water intrusion in a marine stereo. The MBB218 comes with a waterproof faceplate as well as a separate box, functioning as the "brain" of the unit, that can be placed anywhere! This box allows boaters to put it in a water-protected area. In this era of portable media, many boaters are more interested in bringing along their iPod than in using a traditional CD player, so we designed the MBB218 with no CD mechanism. Instead, it's equipped with aux-in to plug in either an MP3 player or a variety of other types of portable media

Dragonfly was selling these at Street Vibes a couple of years ago as I stopped to look a rep demonstrated it. I liked the features of the deck but the speakers they were using were awful as he turned it up distortion was awful I told him my Hawg Wired sounded much better and walked away.

Looking at the Dragonfly website, I'm not sure I would put bag speakers on the of the bags up against the rear wheel.  Talk about obstructing the sound, and IMO, totally useless placement of a 6X9 speaker.  If it were a subwoofer, then mounting the bass port on the inside of the bag would be acceptable, but I suspect they are just normal speakers.

Agreed...not sure that was such a good spot for them...out of sight--yes, but as for the sound--not such a good position.
