If I am riding with others that have CB's we choose a channel that's not popular with truck drivers.  When its only me and I use it I use channel 19 to communicate with truck drivers to see what weather and road conditions are like ahead.  Things like that mostly when going through mountains when weather can change from one side to the other.  Never really thought I was even going to use it.  But it sure is nice on some long rides when I was alone.

Some people have put Bluetooth headsets for their phones in their headsets.  I have thought about this but I don't want hassled by people from home.  They can leave a voicemail and I check that when I get fuel.  Lol.

When I ride with my buddy we always use channel 4... It would be nice if we could get other FLHTCU's to run channel 4 also.
