This information will include date purchased(in order of date), last 4 of the vin numbers and location and site name.

I think this is a great idea, however I personally would like to see a registry for "ALL" CVOs of all years/colors.  I think it would be a better resource than just 2012 "Blue" road glides.  If enough members here would be interested I'd be willing to start a database and track/populate the data.  I did something similar for a "mustang" registry a few years back and could easily adapt the DB to work here as well.

I think the following would be useful information, this would help anyone who may encounter sellers regret later on providing the new owner registers with the registry.  I've found a few of my old cars through registries by knowing the VIN number.   

Purchase Date, Selling Dealership, Owners Name, VIN, Model, Color, Current Location (city/town), Options (if available)

Of course the information in the database can be filtered so that it can't be accessed by persons who don't need it, but you would be able to search by VIN to possibly locate the new owner, etc etc.

Great idea, my suggestion is that you should start another thread doing what you propose above.
An all CVO Registry, what a good idea and I think your perfect to do this.
Have fun, I'd help but I'll be keeping up with the blue 2011.5 SEUC's and the blue 2012 SERG's when I'm not riding.

Speaking from experience (be it a very short experience so far) the wait is worth it.

One less CC/TB FLTRXSE.... Was filling up the tank Sunday when a gentleman pulled in on a Maple Metallic/Vivid Black CVO.  Got to talking and he has a Candy Cobalt last year until he was broadsided.  Totaled the bike.... He survived thank goodness but the bike was totaled.
