Hello all,

Was lurking around and noticed people getting busted for not intro'ing first, so here it is. I live in IL, own an '07 Street Bob, and the hubby owns the '07 SE. Now I'm off to post about his bike, so don't bust me for not being here first!!

Re the busting, if anyone busts a newbie they end up in horrible trouble, so it may be more of a chiding, a rib tickle at best. Interesting pick up though.

Hello Seegarz,

As for the motor, well, a 110 vs. a 96...lot of power, although both respond immediately and there really is no need for 6th gear unless you are doing 75 or better on the interstate. He has had the SE in the 3 digits, I'm too chicken for that! I personally think the SE is more balanced than the SB, and I don't like the "mini-apes" on the SB. I am going to get some new handlebars similar to those on the SE. LOVE the seat on the SB! The SE seems to sound more powerful, and deeper, than the SB, although that may have to do with the pipes.

I will say, we are very disappointed with the SE....the shaking, and the other problems that seem to be cropping up with it. We are also disappointed in the fact that HD put out a model with very little testing. When you pay that price for a scoot, you want perfection (or as close to it as you can get).
