I would like to introduce myself, my name is Mike and I am from Rockford, IL. I was shown this site by my good friend Scott (SADunbar) who is a long time poster here.

Been a Harley rider for many years but last week bought my first CVO bike, a red Dyna. I currently ride a 05 Ultra for my extended rides but wanted something flashy with some power and fell in love with this bike the first time I saw her. Added the SERT and Vance and Hines slip-ons yesterday and now have the sound to go with the look.

I actually rode through Rockford, yesterday as we missed our turn onto Hwy 20, so we did the 20 Business loop
I didn't realize Rockford was as big as it seemed going through on Business 20

Welcome fellow Rockfordite, congratulations on the new CVO Scoot, I'm with ya on the "flash & power, thats what grabbed me by the short and curlies as well. theres actually quite a few guys from the area, I think I counted 9-10 once, we'll have to have a CVO gathering sometime

Welcome Newbie, I to am a Newbie, I am just east of you, McHenry, IL. I have an 07 roadking. I don't get out your way much, but we might going that way soon, we are thinking of going to Byron, IL. to watch the motocross races sometime!!

I had no idea there were that many forum members from this area!

The new bike has about 800 miles on it now and besides the seat that is rock hard it is what I was looking for. It is very strange going between my 05 Ultra and the new Dyna.

Great Big Welcome from a guy who spent 1968-2002 down in Crystal Lake. Did not ride a scoot then, but shot trap and skeet at many clubs in the area. This is one cool place, with a whole lot of folks that know a whole lot about CVO machines.
