A dear friend gone.
« on: November 02, 2009, 08:48:41 AM »

Got to my desk this morning to discover an email from the family of a  very dear friend in Germany - former director, and charter member of the Baden HOG chapter.

Riding his bike on Saturday, a 78 year old lady didn't see him, and pulled out in front of him, and he died immediately.

This on top of news on Saturday morning of a friend's mother - I'd know her all my life - having passed away on Thursday, and on Saturday afternoon of a member of our club, a true gentleman, having lost his battle with cancer, also on Thursday.

I don't much feel like working today.

Jim

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Yet another senseless tragedy to one of our brothers. Sad.
