Just lost a good friend of mine, a couple of weeks ago.  Steve "Tripp" Perdue.  Car pulled out in front of him down on Peters Creek Road, in Roanoke, Va.  Been a good friend of mine for 45 years.  He had just retired from Norfolk Southern, with 32 years of Service.  Marine for 9 years, pulled 2 tours in 'Nam.  Talked to him a couple of weeks before the accident, and he was looking forward to doing some big-time ridin'.  He rode a Road-King with a 110 in it.  Ran pretty good, and he would flat put it in the breeze, too!  He was a 1%er, but was always my friend, and always a gentleman around my family.  Prayers for his Family.  :( Later--HUBBARD

Sorry for your loss, it's hard to loose a good friend, as we get older it seems to happen way too often.  RIP Steve, and Thank You for your service to this country, sounds like you were a good friend. :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Hubbard, just heard on the news that Don Tilley was killed in a MC accident and his wife is in critical condition. Don't know any other details now.   spyder

Yeah, my daughter caled me and told me this morning, just as SHRADER and I were headin out in the breeze.  I'm still in shock.  Sure gonna miss him.  Gotta lot of good memories, though.  Nothing can take those away.  Thanks, spyd.  Later==HUBBARD
