raer spindle torque setting
« on: January 14, 2020, 05:10:58 PM »

Bit of advice please.
2011 Road Glide Ultra CVO
The rear axle torque setting is stated as 95 to 105 ft lbs.
This is using the torque adaptor, if I do not have one of them but apply the torque wrench direct onto a socket on the axle nut, does the same torque setting apply.

That is correct. Torque adapters do not change the torque of the wrench when used at 90 degrees to the wrench. Check out this video.
