ABS Light blinking - problem resolved

Hey guys,  needing a little info about the ABS light on 2018 FLHTKSE

Bike has been sitting for a week awaiting parts ...  got it all back together today ...  took it for a short spin around the block ... 25mph or so to check out the new clutch slave(works great)..   it was sitting without a battery for a few days waiting for the new Anti-gravity lithium battery and installing other none related stuff such as coolflow fan (which works perfectly)...

I just noticed that the ABS light is blinking off and on when sitting still in the garage , engine running ...or just key on ....  i am just so unfamiliar with this bike i don't know whats normal and whats not ...   can someone give me the procedure to check for codes on this bike?      i know , buy the manual .. and i have .... its on order ...

That is normal. Soon as you start riding the bike the light should go out. If it doesn't go out while riding you have a problem.

That is correct. I believe it stops blinking after 5 MPH....

Thank you, I will give it another try tomorrow and see if I can get it to go out. If anyone knows the button sequence to capture error codes off the speedo I would appreciate it if you’d let me know what buttons to press simultaneously on this model. I looked on YouTube and mostly they described it but using the  older ignition switch on the fork lock which mine doesn’t have.

What you are describing is normal if it goes out when you start to move  However,

1.Press and hold the trip Odometer trigger switch on the left Grip while turning the ignition switch on.
2.Release the Trigger button and the word Diag should appear in the Odometer window.
3.Quickly press trigger to toggle between the different computers on the bike and if a Y is present then there are codes.
4.To read the codes just Long Press while the Computer with the Y is on the display.
5.Press and hold while a code is displayed to clear it.

ABS light went out just as you all predicted .....   sorry for all the hand holding ..... ha!  I can only promise that it will get worse before it gets better ... but rest assured i will pay it forward   ;D
