I noticed the rear tail lights on the new CVO SG are raised on the 2015 CVO SG; the ones on my 2012 are more flush to the piece that fits between the rear fender and the bags. I'm wondering if this is a styling change or a form/fit/function change that gives better visibility? I actually like my older style better and am just curious why the change was made.

The new 2015 LED incorporates 3 separate light strips per unit, one of which is an amber direction indicator on international models.
