Congratulations Mike on the new ride!
You've done the foot work on the materials for your seat and you're in good hands with Jim. I don't think you need my help but if you do......I'm here for you.
A suggestion I might make, though. Photo all your modifications and put them in one continouis thread.....sort of an on going photo journal. I didn't do that on my SEEG and in some cases had different threads for different mods. Down the road when somebody would ask me about this or that, I'd have a hell of a time trying to find it for them. When it's all in one place, at least you know what thread it's in. You've seen my thread before but for those that are newer and curious (and I still think the second photo is one of the best I've ever taken.....my wife hauling all my new stuff to Jim's to get it all put on my bike).....
http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=40248.0If I had it to do again, I'd put an index on the first post and keep editing it to refelect what page of the thread each modification is in. Oh hell.....great idea......why didn't I think of that.
At 49 pages, I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon.
Although it wouldn't be that difficult to do as you posted each new mod.
And the thread could be very valuable if/when it comes time to sell your bike.
