Title: 2016 Street Glide CVO GTS Upgrade Speaker Problems

Hey Everyone,

I upgraded my radio to the new GTS unit that comes in the 2019s and up on my 2016 Street Glide CVO. It was a little tricky getting the updated software into the unit, but once I got that done it booted right up. The problem I am having now is that I am not getting any sound out of my speakers. I plugged the old unit in and sound was coming out of the speakers. I have made sure that the sound is set to the speakers and not the headphone setting.

I am using the stock amps that came standard on the 2016 CVO's. Do I need to button it up and take it to the dealer to do some sort of update on it? Is there something that I overlooked? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I believe you need to have it flashed. Also did you update the control switches as well?

I haven’t updated the switches. When I turn the volume up or down it shows it on the head unit.

Has to be flashed by the dealer I believe. You're gonna love it once it is up and running. It is all they say and then some!

Thank you Both very much. I am going to get the system flashed tomorrow. I will post if it fixes the issue or not.

After the Flash, the speakers started working. Thank you everyone for your help!
