Title: More <nuetral> conversation
Post by: Bikrtrsh on February 20, 2004, 01:42:11 PM
Man! Just when I got all ready to join the race to buy the first beer ........ Cabo locked the thread! LOL!!!

OK, one of the mechanics at work (HD factory in KC) came up with this explanation on the finding nuetral issue. His claim is that due to the complaints of finding nuetral too easily (as in shifting from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd) while under acceleration, HD decided to make it more difficult to hit nuetral by upshifting. The idea here is to get the feel for downshifting from 2nd. I don't have the means to validate this claim as of yet. Could be total BS ya know. After all, the man wrenches on XL bikes ONLY! LOL! :P
