Just hold the HOME button in for (I think) 3 seconds. Then move the HOME button to the right for "i".

Good info. I'll try that when I get home. Seems they make it kinda tough to toggle between the two screens.

Thanks!

BTW my screens are still working great!

Thanks for that. I use DAB all the time in the U.K. and wondered if and how it would be available if I upgraded.

Has anyone done the retrofit with a used gts and didn't swap the USB cable?  I'm not getting android auto and I have the latest software in the radio so I'm wondering if the USB cable is to blame.  I've tried a couple data capable USB cables between the cubby and the phone and that didn't help my issue.

Thanks.

Probably not your cord. I believe that you must have a headset paired or plugged in for Carplay or Android Auto to work and keep an eye on your phone when you first fire it up to "allow" it to work.

I also have a 2015 FLTRUSE and was considering upgrading to the Boombox GTS as well. Are the XM and CB modules compatible?

Thanks!

Both the XM and CB modules were compatible when I swapped the BOOM GTS for the GT on my 2017 CVO Limited. I did the install myself. Directions are quite easy. Then had dealer do the flash to mate the radio to the bike vin.

That's encouraging. I ordered the Boom GTS last night and am anxious to complete the install.

Was on the fence and considering upgrading to a 2021 CVO Road Glide due to the new GTS, TPMS and Stability control system. Went to look at a Black & Orange fade yesterday and realized that after having three Road Glides with the last two being CVO Ultras I wouldn't be satisfied with it as is. Would be looking at adding a tour pack, windshield, full size mirrors, full engine guard and saddlebag guards and still not up to Ultra level. So between the asking price and upgrades and the full court press by the sales staff which turned me off, I decided to walk. Upgrading my OE Boom GT will make me happy and I'll be about $30K ahead of the game.

Maybe revisit if HD decides to release a CVO RG Ultra in the future.

I've the same 2015 FLTRUSE and upgraded to the GTS. Simply transfer your XM and CB modules to the new GTS and in spite of what they say, your existing USB cable will work just fine. I even upgraded my BCM so that I could install the TPMS. I think it's all worth the effort. A few words of advice: using his Digital Technician II software, be certain your tech activates all the features your CVO came with (XM, CB) and any you've added (speakers, amps, TPMS, etc.). My first inexperienced tech overlooked activating even the most obvious feature of NAVIGATION!! Good Luck with your upgrades!

Dennis please tell me more about the TPMS upgrade / modification and what's involved. I'm assuming updated BCM, TPMS sensors and a programming flash?

I know this is an old thread, but I am just getting around to installing a gts and whim in my 2015 CVO road glide. My question is: will the wiring harness that comes with the whim work or do I have to buy the one harley is selling separately. The instructions say you need the wireless headset interface module harness P/N 69201726 for 14 thru 17 models. I ask because it appears they assume the whim will be attached to a gt radio not the gts.

So I found that the extra harness 69201726 is required to connect the CB module on the earlier bikes.
