Im still alive.
« on: May 17, 2007, 11:30:02 AM »

I'm still alive. I have been a member of this site for At least two years (I'm not sure how i lost my membership). I hit a deer two days ago traveling 65 m/h while going to work on my motorcycle. The helmet saved my life (please wear your helmet). I have 8 staples in my head, one major bruise on my hip and my knuckles are gnawed off on both hands. I'm lucky too be alive but I'm already missing my bike. Just to let you know there is one less fltrsei2 on the road now. I had just completed all the modifications that i wanted. I would list them but there is too many to list and it doesn't matter now. Me and my wife are riders for life, (she is hard core as they come) so we are already looking for our next show piece. We would like to find a fltrcuse2 to replace the bike we had. If anyone knows this bike for sell we will be willing to drive to get it. I will attach a before and after picture of the bike.  I am looking forward to meeting more of the people from this site.. Please feel free to contact me here. I'm going to be off work for 6 days total and plan on getting back to normal soon. Every man dies but not every man truly lives.

                                                             Mike and Tonja
P.S. We are True eagle riders to the end.

Glad your injuries were mild -- I always wear helmet and glad to see yours did its job.

Damned shame about the scoot.  Do you think it is fixable?  Never hurts to have 2 or more bikes in the garage.

My condolences to the deer's family.

Mike, glad to hear you're ok!  :2vrolijk_21:

When you get a new ride you my want to invest in a new bell!  Looks like your old one reached it's maximum road grimlin capacity!

Asphault, Sorry to hear about your mishap. Hope you get back up soon. 65mph and a deer is a serious situation. Best of Luck on finding a "New Scoot". Ride On, Dave :coolblue:
