High-Country HD is a MSRP dealer on CVOs and everything else. Good folks to do business with. Ask for Eloy Lopez and tell him I sent you.

 I saw a ridiculous price on a CVO ultra at COX'S in Asheboro, N.C. $40,235. I think their StreetGlides are @ $2,000 over priced as well. I will be buying somewhere else. Just can't convince myself to hand over $2,000 more than MSRP

Mancuso Harley Davidson in Houston (Crossroads location) has the following as of 8-24-09

2010 screamin eagle ultra (red and black)
2010 screamin eagle street glide (maroon or red type color)
2010 screamin eagle fat bob (blue)

Call Mike Akinson (general manager) who is a friend of mine and told me that due to the downfall in recent sales he will let all the above go at msrp plus the normal freight and setup cost.  Only ask for him first to avoid the sales BS.  They also have a nice looking 2008 white Ultra that will go for around 30k with only 12k miles.

How wrong is it for dealers to ask more then MSRP. I will tell you that it is BULL CHIT. If we just said no and let the bikes set then maybe they would stop this CHIT. We the riders keep them in business by buying Parts, Chrome, Service and Cloths. I for one would love to be loyal to my dealership of choice but because they have lost there minds then my money shops anywhere. When was the last time you went into a dealership on the road and did not buy a t-shirt. This is wrong and the dealers know it. But you know what it's not there fault, as long as we give them the 2,000 to 4,000 premium bike charge they are going to do it. I for one am not going to pay it. I hope more riders tell them to F&%# OFF. I love my Harley's but I like to eat too.

The Burnt Amber Ultra Classic CVO has been far and few between in the dealerships. I had to order mine without seeing one in person. But I'm ok with that. It may be Nov or Dec before I get my new baby girl. Why did you have to bring her up, it's 11:20 pm and I never going to get to sleep now. I guess I will have to take another  so I can sleep.
