I have the same bike, and I would be curious if you are planning any headwork or mods to beef up that engine. I have the breather, slip ons and cam upgrade but looking for a little more umph. I was thinking of bumping up the compression or doing some headwork. Thanks

Yes, I am. Assuming the 98cc chambers, I'm considering changing to a 107" with flat top pistons. Have a mild Street port done on the heads, and should get me around 196 ccp, and a nice compression bump that will still work nicely with my Andrews 48 cams.

Good plan but consider a little more cam like the Andrews 57.

Good plan but consider a little more cam like the Andrews 57.

I have considered going bigger on the cams, and if dyno numbers are the goal, I'm sure thats the best bet. I already have the 48's in the bike and I love the torque curve down low. According to the big boyz calculator I can go 107 and cut the heads to get 92 cc and have a reasonable compression and ccp, and should have more tq down low. Just more of what I have now. If I'm wrong, please feel free to chime in.....

If that is the case keep the cam and mill the heads, install the latest CVO 110 valve seals and ride on. No need to port those heads. The stock ports will compliment your intended goal, maybe a little cleaning under the seats. If they were to land here I would install better bronze manganese guides and AV&V seals, multi-angle and radius valve job and CC them where the CR will end up at 9.2:1, corrected for cam.

What would such head work cost and where are you located?
