I put one in the rider section of a Corbin dual.  It was easy.  Drilled the rivets to get the cover off, drilled a hole through the seat for the wires to drop down through, laid the heat pad and foam then pulled the cover back in place.  Re-riveted the cover then routed the wires forward and installed their controller.  Tried it myself once before the bike rode away.  Worked very well.  The guy who owns it used it all winter.  Total install time, including beverages, was about 2 1/2 hours.  Would've been less without the beverages.

Where did you mount the controllers? Can you post a pic? I've got a wireless dual controller I'm going to use on mine. Just need the time to hook it up.

Wasn't my bike and no pics.  Fab'd up a little aluminum plate that then mounted to the frame such that the control was neatly tucked just under the left leg and under the nose of the saddle. Made it easy to reach and still didn't stand out anywhere. Also made it easy to tuck the wiring up in front of the battery.

Heat Demons seems to have been taken over.....and the Canadian suppliers list heat Demons...but have NO products listed......I guess they wanted to expand at the expense of customer service

Have done a few seats using products similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-628-040-Universal-Seat-Heater/dp/B002U6IL9O/ref=pd_sbs_263_1/135-0939696-7245734?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B002U6IL9O&pd_rd_r=c5702469-906e-45cf-a461-44e736824781&pd_rd_w=j5nbW&pd_rd_wg=1O8Eb&pf_rd_p=7cd8f929-4345-4bf2-a554-7d7588b3dd5f&pf_rd_r=E4F2JDH55BB70X8Q8V5Y&psc=1&refRID=E4F2JDH55BB70X8Q8V5Y

Designed for use in car seats, but work great in motorcycles.  Used for rider/passenger seats. Disassembled HD seat by removing staples holding seat cover. Positioned the 2 heat pads between the foam & the plastic to keep them waterproof. Cut hole in left side of seat & used thick leather glued into place as backing material for the switch.  Re-stretch cover, re-staple to the original fit. Seat cover material stretches, is easy enough to manipulate back into place but takes a little time. Job including wiring took around 2 hours, with a couple of hours or so of beer drinking afterwards.

Had one of these on an extra seat for my 2010, it worked great never had an issue with it. Other size pads are available if you check around, as well as single pads.  No experience with the Heat Demons myself, figure they would work well also.

Why you need heated saddle in Blue Haired Mosquito Land (Florida)?

Why you need heated saddle in Blue Haired Mosquito Land (Florida)?

In the Swampy Bug Filled Boneyard of the Southeastern USA, the blue hairs peep under their steering wheels searching diligently at 20 mph for the best Early Bird starting about 4:30 pm.

Sometimes when the Global Warmings are not working as promised or turned off by the government climate makers or whoever, the temperature in Heaven's Waiting Room can drop below 50 degrees.  When the Great White North Frozen Wasteland gets too full of cold air & it spills south, the temperature here can drop into the 20s.  I have learned that riding with a toasty butt is preferable to riding with a frozen ass, therefore the need for a heated saddle. Living better electrically, not too mention the joy of lightly toasted nuts.

I've thought for a few years about adding one of the cheap carbon type pads into the passenger backrest for my BSR's benefit, but the lack of a decent weatherproof switch has prevented me.
