Can 2016 cvo key fob be programmed to a 2015 cvo

My 16 was stolen and I replaced it with a 15. I still have both fobs for the 16. Can I have the dealer program the 16 fobs to the 15? I tried searching but had no luck.

Your dealer should be able to. It’s has to be reprogrammed to the new bike’s security system.

Never know until you ask the dealer but the parts list for each year would suggest questions.  Just looked and 15 has the old style fob that dates from 2007 while 16 is the new style that combines fob and key.  That it might be just a physical difference rather than some disqualifying electronic difference, however, is that the antenna and BCM are the same between the two years.

So the answer is no. I went in to the dealer yesterday and they tried no it couldn't be done.
