Was cleaning the bike today and ran across this ........ With all of the reported problems I guess it was inevitable. Hopefully I caught it early. Bike is going to dealership tomorrow for recall work so, I guess I'm leaving it there.

Wish you a speedy fix and also wish this wasn't happening to others - first year design woo's I guess.

Got a small leak on mine as well, taking it in Thursday for the 1,000 mile service and plan on getting this fixed at the same time.

Bummer...Excuse my ignorance, but where is that leaking from? Can you explain, do you have a wider shot that shows the leak relative to other parts on the bike I may recognize? Hope they fix her up fast.

May be the bottom of by near thermostat
-
Does any of the people that got theirs repaired have any actual info on where the leaks came from?

Yea, I see that now. It looks like it's on the left side facing the water pump cover.
-
My bike must have leaked it all out, I can't find a drop of coolant any where? :nixweiss: :coolblue:
-
Standing in front of the bike, its on the left hand side. It's definitely the water pump or the elbow that connects to it.

Rut Roe! Words "water pump" and Harley just don't seem right! :nixweiss:

low bidder in china. they will never learn
-
I had the same issue they replaced the thermostat and that cured the problem - rode 450 miles this past weekend trouble free
-
Thermostat housing either "plastic weld" issue or porosity.
New replacement part will be installed on Monday.
If that is the only issue I will have with this MC its the best HD I ever had. Had issues and recalls on all my HD and BMW MC's. Had about 18 Japs bikes that was perfect out of the box, and the biggest surprise of all one Italian MC that was perfect as well.

-
