Try taking the bars a little off full lock. Sometimes it takes a little jiggling to find the right position

Odds are your switch and lock is improperly assembled or defective.  Take it to the dealer, it should not be difficult at all to lock and unlock the forks, and you shouldn't have to wiggle and jiggle it.

OK, I have to be honest.  I thought GetMeABeer was resurrected under a new name a first.

Gotta' make sure the bars are in the right position before the switch will move.

My big problem is with the FOB to unlock the forks.  Push it twice, push it long twice, push and hold?  Eventually it unlocks the ignition, but there is no feedback other than being able to move the lock.  Bags unlock easily and distinctly.

Mine has to be slightly off of full left to lock.
