Passenger Floorboards and Mounts?
« on: December 30, 2013, 02:14:09 PM »

Does anyone know if the passenger floorboards and Mounts have changed from our 2008 CUSE?  The bike is off the road now for winter but on one of the last rides taken, Anne commented that they felt higher than the old bike.

I took a look at them and they are adjustable.  The adjustment appears to go from 9 - 12 - 3 O'clock (on the right side) but unable to go down to the 6-O'clock position.  They are currently at the 3 -Oclock position and that appears to be as low as they go.  Am I missing something?   :nixweiss:

And no, Anne's legs have not gotten longer...in fact she is shrinking based on her December Physical   ;D

Thanks
/Bill

Isn't is possible to move the entire mount up and down on the frame?  I don't think it buys much in height, but it should be an option.

As for your question about it being the same as the 08, I don't know of any specific changes, so I believe they are the same.

You can move the mount down to the lower location.

The Passenger Floor Boards and Mounts are the same as what was on my 2010. There are two threaded holes and the factory always puts them in the top position. Very easy change to move them to the lower hole and gain about one inch.

This was the only thing my BSR complained about and I had to move.

Thanks all!

I must have forgotten how I lowered them on the 08 (Getting Older!).  I was too focused on the pivoting arm and forgot to look for the obvious.

Lowered them tio the bottom rung...Thanks agaibn!
