I bought my FXR2 on the left coast and moved to the right coast.  Imediately noticed a difference in how the EVO ran.  Went to a local dealer who installed the thunderslide kit, and rejetted the carb.  Noticed better response, especially with the cooler weather here, which the EVO didn't like when we first arrived.  Can vouch that the thunderslide kit works well.
