Title: 2005 FLHTCSE2 Rear suspension-must go Progressive?
Post by: drmalacarne on March 14, 2018, 07:54:23 PM
Hi to all!
I bought a 2005 FLHTCUSE2 and I’m planning ride 2 up a lot.
So, I’m thinking in put a pair of Progressive 412 series shocks in the rear, since the factory rear suspension travel is only 2.2 inches.
Question: a 13 inches shock will maintain the original height in the rear, so the CVO will not look as with the rear up in the air?
Anyone here has made this change? With height of shock used?
Thanks very much in advance.

I think the stock shock ht is 12”. The 05 seeg is a low rider with only 4” of clearance so good shocks are needed. I bought a set of the bitubos after my progressives leaked. They have been a great shock.
