2021 RG CVO Wheel Cleaning

(1/1)

Gregfry:
For those of you with the spoke wheels what is the best way to keep these wheels clean and good looking?  Had my bike for 2 months now and initially hated the wheels but have to say they are growing on me now.  Any tips or pointers others have to keep them new looking?

CVODON:
On everyday wash I would use Eagle 1 A2Z wheel/tire cleaner or P&S Brake Buster & a original Wheel Woolies on the wheels. Works great, no scratched knuckles and the products are safe on all surfaces included painted. Every couple thousand miles I would Spritz with CarPro Iron-X to remove all the impregnated metal particles, this stuff is amazing, then after after rinsing I use a spray drying aid like P&S Bead Maker, wheels will dry much easier and have no residual water spots.

I've also heard good things about this product;

CVODON:
LUSTRE Lace is for bare metal surfaces and does a great job. NOT for coated or painted surfaces. It will remove Anodizing, Clearcoat and make Powdercoat very dull. Be careful with it and read the instructions and warnings carefully.

OBB:
Whatever you're thinking about using, make damn sure you read the entire lable to make sure it's safe for motorcycle tires in case you get any product in it. I have some stuff I use on my car wheels that works great but leaves a slick residue on the tires themselves as it's a  wheel/tire cleaner. It states right on the bottle that it should not be used on motorcycle tires.
