Title: TomTom Rider

When I first got my rider, I tried multiple times to order a mount kit from them. All I ever got was a lot of excuses and "we don't know"s... Finally just ordered the parts I needed from private vendors off the internet. They appreciated my money and business.

So, in conclusion; I would never buy another TomTom product... I going with garmin next time around..

i think testing is a very difficult task as the pins in the sockets are so petite and it would be alot easier to
find a friend with the identical power cord, or ask at the shop if they can lend you one,

I have a few friends with them - the original, and the TTR2. They've ALL had the same problem with them. Vibration wears the mount to the point where the contacts no longer contact, and the unit just shuts down. No real fix for it. That's why I bought a Garmin Zumo 550.

What I would say is the Tomtom software is MILES superior to the utterly awful Garmin stuff, but the Garmin hardware is MILES superior to the Tomtom. So if we could get a Garmin with Tomtom software, we'd have the perfect GPS! ;)

Its the slim small screen version so it fits easily into my jacket pocket when i dont need it! Ok its not a water proof/rider model but i only need it to locate something specific...............i think the tomtom software is top notch!

Used the Tom Tom Rider from SATX to Milwaukee and back for the HD 105th. It was spot on and easy to use. I'm a "map guy" and several times I went against my planned route and followed the TTR and it never failed me! No quality issues-I recommend it :2vrolijk_21:
