Intercom Helmet Headsets
« on: February 01, 2009, 05:28:09 AM »

Has anyone had problems with the headsets supplied by the MOCO with new SEEGs. On our 07 SEEG we had 4 replacement Headsets each (me and the BSR) in the 12 months we had the bike and each time it was the same earpiece that packed up.
Does anyone know of good alternatives to the dealer supplied ones.
Thanks Trot

Trot, are you using a full face helmet? An excellent replacement that many here use is J&M's headset. I have mine wired into a Nolan full face and love it. Quality sound and a great boom microphone.

Using an Arai open face cant do with being hemmed in. Does this plug straight in to the existing socket or do you have to get adapters etc?

These are a direct plug-in for the H-D intercom. They will work on the Arai helmet. You can send your lid in to have it done but it pretty easy to do yourself.

I use the Nolan N102 modular with the Ncom bluetooth. The cable they have for the Ultra works great. Also gives me blue tooth for my cell phone or helmet to helmet intercom (cordless).
