HK speakers don't sound any better in a BMW than they do a HD..

JM had new replacement speakers for E/G's at Biketoberfest, have a small tweeter mounted to grill. They had display that featured HD speakers and you flip a switch and new speakers took over. Major difference on the display in volume level between std fairing speakers and there new units. They sucked in both guys with me at the time, went back to motel and installed (both have '04 E/G's). No difference in sound at low levels, but when you crank them, clarity is major improvement. Both guys were amazed at difference for only $100.00 and 10 minute install. They were both interested in Hawg Wired amp/speaker system before, now are satisfied with what they have, neither are major sound/music guys, just mainly wanted to be able to understand songs at 70 mph, now they can. Cheap upgrade I can agree works.

[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  100% in agreement with DW6019.  The absolute BEST 100 $ spent on my and my husband's bike.

Would/Do Highly reccomend.  This fall in MV some other CVO owner riders heard my stereo - just XM and Hog Tunes and were highly surprised at the amount of clear volume that my stereo could put out.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  And Pez, the owner of this company and member of this forum is fantastic to work with.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Is it just me, or am I seeing the hawg site that the Hawg wired's for the CUSE 07 out of stock until further notice?  Anyone compared Hawg to Hog to JM with the stock setup in the 07 CUSE?

Rhino;
The HW speakers for the 06 and up bikes are being modified, that is why they are shown as "out of stock". Production units will be availible soon! I will keep the board updated on the progress.

As far as the comparison I have heard and installed all three. Here is a thread on a comparison that was done a while back. It did not include the JM but I can tell you that of the 3 they are the least desirable.

Jim, have you yet seen anything that even gets close to the HW component speakers in a speaker that should also stand up in our applications?

That ould be nice.  It seems that for the time being, the Hogs are similar to the older style?  So since my budget is not going to handle a full blown setup right now, what differences do you expect runnin the NEW HawgwIRED SPEAKERS on a stock amp for the interim. Are they component like J & M is pushing?

Thank,
Ron

Don, In all honesty, no I have not. I am of course biased as a dealer but the component series are the best 5.25" speakers on the market hands down.

Will the new line be 2 ohm to match the factory equipment?
