While after my accident I advocate helmets more than you would think, there is an alternative for you.  You can go to harley and purchase a mic.  It comes with a black mounting bracket that goes onto your handle bars using existing mounts for your left hand grip.   This would allow you have the CB, and still not "have to" wear a helmet.

i think SETCOM makes something for regulart folk...not sure you would want it....  $$$ they also make a wireless kit for the popo radios thats pretty slick  instead of the strangulation cable

What I was thinking was that snap arrangment, would be nice to use any one of my 1/2 helments and just add the snaps and pouch.  I think it's time to invent another thingy....
