Is the Garmin 2720 old technology or still worth buying? If it is the old technology is there something new out there [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

hi hogasm,
I have a 2720 and feel it's still a good unit. Garmin has a newer line out now the 2820 and 2830 that have more features such as built in XM,bluetooth,MP3 etc. There is also a motorcycle specific model called the Garmin Zumo which can be used in a car or on foot.
By getting a 2720 you may be able to find it at a discount since the others are newer. As far as the info contained inside the units they are all pretty much the same and can all be updated over your computer or by buying Navagation discs.

Wall Mart has the 2720 on sale on their internet store. You can read about all the options but getting first hand advice makes a big difference.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

For what it's worth, I have the 2720 and love it.
