2012 SERG

2012 SERGC

2012 CVORGC

2012 CVOSERGC

Things use to be much simpler.

I have a 2001 Blue SERG

Just wondering what a 2012 will be called?

All the others have SE in the name...no point in confusing the subject now by adding the CVO

Very confusing indeed    I have the 2000 Triple Red SERG and like Chips 2001 SERG It came with all the "bells and whistles" available at the time.  When re-introduced in 2009 it was dressed more in the style of a Street Glide (no tour pac etc.) and still called it a SERG which I'm OK with. Then in 2011 it is re-introduced again with all the "Bells and Whistles "available at the time and "rename" it SERG Ultra  Now for 2012 it is a Street Glide style once again I guess to me a SERG is a SERG is a SERG  For the MOCO I guess its a Marketing game.   I think they are ALL SERG's

Since most call the '11 a SERGU, I'd say call the '12 a SERGC

I agree with Terry...I've been calling the '12's SERGC, just like I call my '11 and SERGU.

Call it the SERG.  That is what the 09 was called.  The regular road glide custom came out right after the 09 SERG and took its styling from the SERG.  This 12 CVO is just like the 09 except colors.

I think that's the best idea. Even though the Motor Company no longer calls them Screamin Eagles (how stupid is that?) I think SERG works best for me.

As I see it, the problem started with the Electra Glide. A loaded EG was an ultra, a stripped and lowered one was a Street Glide. With the Road Kings and Road Glides the stripped and lowered ones are known as Customs. Thus I guess it should be known to the MOCO as a 2012 SERGC. However they still call it an Ultra in the new funky promotion where they send you a framed certificate of origin with your name and date of purchase on it.
