Title: Crystal glo polish on fiberglass?? BAD!!
Post by: CVOwner on December 31, 2005, 12:11:14 PM
I bought some crystal glo polish and used it a few times. The last time I got interupted and forgot to remove some from the bags. Man, that stuff is hard to get off if you leave it on. Has anyone had this experience? It was only on the fiberglass. Fairing and bags.

Never used the stuff, but have you tried putting it on again and then removing it according to directions?  Another coat may act to soften what's already on there.  This has worked for me with other products that behaved similarly.  Worth a try.

Try this stuff.  I have.... um.... well; had occasion to use it and found it surprisingly effective.

I use the Crystal-Glo product line. It's some pretty darn good stuff.
Never let it dry to that extent...Usually do one section at time and remove it when it just starts to haze over. Sometimes I even remove it when it's still wet, that works just as good. Thanks for the heads up! I'll make sure not to leave it on too long.
